Account Information

We may collect your name, email address, password or authentication information, profile details, company or creator name, plan, billing status, and account preferences.

Project And Media Information

When you use UGCMedia Clips, we may collect and process:

  • ·Video source URLs you submit.
  • ·Uploaded video files.
  • ·Imported source videos.
  • ·Generated clips, captions, transcripts, headlines, translations, templates, thumbnails, B-roll selections, and other outputs.
  • ·Project settings such as source type, language, clip length preference, output ratio, caption style, max clip count, silence removal, headline settings, emoji settings, highlight settings, and B-roll settings.
  • ·Media metadata such as duration, file type, file size, processing status, generated clip count, and estimated processing minutes.

Payment Information

If you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor may collect billing details, payment method information, tax information, invoices, and transaction records. We do not store full payment card numbers unless expressly stated by our payment processor.

Usage, Device, And Log Information

We may collect usage data, IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, feature usage, timestamps, errors, diagnostics, and security logs.

Communications

If you contact us, join a waitlist, request support, respond to a survey, or receive email from us, we may collect your message content, contact information, and communication preferences.

4. How We Share Information

Service Providers And Processors

We may share information with vendors that help us operate the service, including hosting, database, storage, AI/video processing, media import workers, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, customer support, security, logging, and infrastructure providers. These providers may process account information, project settings, source URLs, uploaded videos, imported media, generated clips, captions, transcripts, thumbnails, metadata, and diagnostics only as needed to provide services to us.

AI And Video Processing Providers

We may send source videos, source URLs, project settings, transcripts, clips, captions, templates, and metadata to third-party AI/video processing providers so they can generate clips, captions, headlines, B-roll, translations, and rendered outputs.

Payment Providers

Payment information is processed by our payment processor. Your use of payment services may also be subject to that processor's privacy policy and terms.

Legal, Safety, And Compliance

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms, or protect UGCMedia Clips, users, or the public.

Business Transfers

We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.

With Your Direction

We may share information when you ask us to do so, such as when you connect third-party accounts, download clips, share assets, invite collaborators, or use integrations.

5. User Content And Public Sharing

Your projects and generated clips are private by default unless you share them, publish them, invite collaborators, or use a feature that creates a public or shareable link. If you publish clips to third-party platforms, those platforms' policies control their use of the content.

6. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and operate backups. Current retention periods:

  • ·Source videos: retained for 30 days after processing, or longer where your plan includes extended storage.
  • ·Generated clips: retained while your account is active, subject to plan storage limits.
  • ·Transcripts and captions: retained with their associated clips.
  • ·Failed imports and temporary processing artifacts: deleted within 7 days.
  • ·Deleted accounts: account data and media purged within 30 days of confirmed deletion.
  • ·Backups: rotated and expired within 35 days.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and restricting access to your account.

8. Your Choices And Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • ·Access personal information.
  • ·Correct personal information.
  • ·Delete personal information.
  • ·Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • ·Port personal information.
  • ·Opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activities where applicable.
